What is career coaching?
While career coaching can take many shapes and forms, essentially coaching is a caring, guided, supportive effort to help you gain the emotional intelligence skills and strength you’ll need to handle whatever is happening. And help you figure out ways to improve things for yourself, whether in your current job or future career goals.
A career coach can be especially useful during times of change. Changes happening around you perhaps. Or changes you’d like to have happen. Changes in the workplace. Career transition. Job search. Or just a feeling something needs to change. And if there are obstacles getting in your way — seen or unseen, old or new — a good coach will work with you to help you identify and find ways around them.
Career Coaching Services:
One of the greatest satisfactions I get as a career coach is being able to support you through challenging times. Times of uncertainty. Times of personal transition and change. Helping you find answers — and even the right questions. Helping you stay centered and strong as you look for those answers. And offering extra supportive “hugs” and reminders along the way of how much you have to offer.
As an experienced career coach, I will do my best to listen carefully & objectively, providing support and feedback based on your individual needs. Together we can sort out and plan for what you need and want. And which actions & mindsets — even small changes to start — can help get you there. While also helping you learn to engage your strongest self now and in the future, no matter what obstacles get in your way!
Fee: $90 session (45 minutes)
ACCEPTING SUPPORTIVE COACHING** CLIENTS ONLY
** NOTE: I’m not offering step-by-step job search or interview coaching at this time. Sorry. (You can find many helpful articles here.) But I do offer individualized coaching support, since often our biggest obstacle to change is how we feel about ourselves — and all that’s happening.
My aim is to be there to support you and help you learn to bring your best self and perspective to each new circumstance — and even your current job if you want. And to help offer you tools to recover more quickly if (when) things don’t always work out.
None of us is perfect. Nor are our jobs. Or the people we work with. It’s how we deal with things — and how we see ourselves even in toughest times — that can make all the difference. And sometimes just having a caring coach at your side can help get you “unstuck” and moving again … in the right direction!

Although I can’t guarantee specific results, if we do decide to work together I’ll do my very best to listen carefully and provide caring coaching support. So you don’t have to go through this alone. 🙂

CAREER COACHING RECOMMENDATIONS
Paul D., Career Development Coach
“Ronnie Ann is an outstanding career development coach. She’s one of the best career coaching professionals I have met and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with her as part of my own career journey. Whether coach or coachee, my demands are simple: plans are clear & effective; the coaching relationship is based on growth, learning & trust; goals & progress are motivational today and as far as the eye can see. In my experience Ronnie Ann delivers all this and more, which is why I have no hesitation recommending her as an insightful, talented and visionary career coach.”
Kathleen N., Non-profit Manager
“Ronnie Ann worked with me as a coach during one of the hardest times of my life. After giving my all to an organization I helped create, the Board decided to get rid of me. I was devastated. I can honestly say that it was Ronnie Ann who helped me see this for what it eventually wound up being, a chance to create something new in my life. She was supportive and caring through the entire ordeal and because of her business background, she understood the organizational aspects of what I was going through, even helping me through the end stages so that I could leave with my head held high. Which I am proud to say I did! I will always be grateful to Ronnie Ann for her gentle guidance through a truly life-changing time.”
Marielle M., Publishing Website Producer
“Ronnie Ann is clever, encouraging, and inspiring. She has tremendous insight into the struggles of getting (or keeping) a job in today’s corporate atmosphere, and applies plenty of tools and talent toward helping you find your true calling amid the chaos and distractions of everyday life. She gives great advice and makes the situation you’re in, whatever it may be, seem manageable, helping you find solutions you may never have considered on your own.”
Louise A., Founder Intentional Communication Consultants
“I’ve had the pleasure to work with Ronnie Ann in a number of capacities and her dedication, attention to detail, empathy and wit have never wavered. Apart from her extensive business and non-profit expertise, Ronnie Ann’s clients can expect a deep commitment to their needs and a willingness to bring new, creative resources to every interaction. I followed her (previous) successful blog, Work Coach Cafe, closely and even with “strangers” Ronnie extended herself to offer high quality information and insights, presented with warmth and exceptional thoughtfulness. Ronnie Ann’s an exceptional career coach who will make your search for work or a new direction in life easier, more fulfilling and effective.”
