Why personal coaching?
Although there are people lucky enough to find work that they love without any career coaching, most of us can use a little help now and then. Especially as we grow and change. Or as new things enter our lives. Even a career or job that once fit us well may not be working for us any more.
I know there are times in a job or career when things begin to feel difficult. When anyone might benefit from a little extra help — or just a friendly ear. One of the greatest satisfactions I get as a career coach is being there to support you through — and beyond — those tough times.
As an experienced career coach and mentor, I can listen objectively to provide support and feedback. And I can help you sort out what needs further action — as well as some things you may be ready to let go.
Sometimes even small changes can be big!
My basic coaching method
Flexibility is an important part of any career coaching relationship — as is concern for your unique needs and situation. After learning a little about you, I try to create a safe space for us to explore any feelings or obstacles that may be getting in the way of reaching your job or career goals.
Working together, we will set short term and long term goals. Based on those goals, we then create an action plan, adjusting where needed if your situation changes. I also offer ongoing continued support if you like …. or even occasional check-ins / tune-ups later on, so you are not left without support.
One thing I like to do is ask clients to keep notes of anything that happens or thoughts that arise during the week that are related to the work we’re doing. Those notes can help us aim the session toward any immediate needs, while still moving toward the goals we’ve set. Or any new goals that arise.

To schedule a free phone chat to explore the possibility of working together, you can contact me at RonnieAnn2007 [at] AOL.com. Phone sessions are available for clients anywhere in the US.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not answer career or job search questions privately for non-clients. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please feel free to ask your question in a related topic on the blog. I’ll do my best to respond.
All fees (PayPal, credit card, or Chase Pay) are received at least one day in advance of the session. Sorry, but I can’t make any exceptions.
While I cannot guarantee specific results, if we do decide to work together, I’ll do my very best based on YOUR needs to help support you through what can be an enormously challenging as well as exciting time. Together we’ll set goals and work toward getting you the results you really want … and we may even discover a brand new direction together that you never imagined!
But I need you to know there are no guarantees — only sincere, caring personalized coaching support and encouragement so you won’t have to go through this alone.

Paul D., Career Development Coach
“Ronnie Ann is an outstanding career development professional. She’s one of the best coaches I have met and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with her as part of my own career journey. Whether coach or coachee, my demands are simple: plans are clear & effective; the coaching relationship is based on growth, learning & trust; goals & progress are motivational today and as far as the eye can see. In my experience Ronnie Ann delivers all this and more, which is why I have no hesitation recommending her as an insightful, talented and visionary career development coach.”
Kathleen N., Non-profit Manager
“Ronnie Ann worked with me as a coach during one of the hardest times of my life. After giving my all to an organization I helped create, the Board decided to get rid of me. I was devastated. I can honestly say that it was Ronnie Ann who helped me see this for what it eventually wound up being, a chance to create something new in my life. She was supportive and caring through the entire ordeal and because of her business background, she understood the organizational aspects of what I was going through, even helping me through the end stages so that I could leave with my head held high. Which I am proud to say I did! I will always be grateful to Ronnie Ann for her gentle guidance through a truly life-changing time.”
Marielle M., Publishing Website Producer
“Ronnie Ann is clever, encouraging, and inspiring. She has tremendous insight into the struggles of getting (or keeping) a job in today’s corporate atmosphere, and applies plenty of tools and talent toward helping you find your true calling amid the chaos and distractions of everyday life. She gives great advice and makes the situation you’re in, whatever it may be, seem manageable, helping you find solutions you may never have considered on your own.”
Louise A., Founder Intentional Communication Consultants
“I’ve had the pleasure to work with Ronnie Ann in a number of capacities and her dedication, attention to detail, empathy and wit have never wavered. Apart from her extensive business and non-profit expertise, Ronnie Ann’s clients can expect a deep commitment to their needs and a willingness to bring new, creative resources to every interaction. I followed her (previous) successful blog, Work Coach Cafe, closely and even with “strangers” Ronnie extended herself to offer high quality information and insights, presented with warmth and exceptional thoughtfulness. Ronnie Ann’s an exceptional career coach who will make your search for work or a new direction in life easier, more fulfilling and effective.”
