As the new year approaches, I’d like to offer a few words of gratitude. This career site, Work To The Wise, is now in its 7th year. Helping it grow over time has been a labor of love for me. And hopefully visiting here has offered some useful ideas and insights for you.
I so appreciate all the support you’ve given me as well as the advice you’ve offered to others from your own experiences. And I hope that in the coming year this site will continue to grow and give you even more of what you need!
This is a great time for us to stop and feel good about the things we’ve accomplished this past year — even the little things. It all adds up!
It’s also a good time to shake off the other stuff. Things that didn’t go as well as we’d have wished. People who we could do without. My philosophy (or at least my sincere intent) is to use all that to grow and move on!
It’s also a good time to think about what we’d still like to make happen for ourselves and for others. Things that are easily obtainable and those that take some dreaming … and possibly some stepping outside of our comfort zones.
While I’m not a big new-year goal setter, I do like to plant a few vivid visions in my own mind of things that would delight. And I hope you will join me in that for yourselves!
Wishing you all a very happy and healthy holiday season. And a fabulous new year. I look forward to seeing you again next year with new articles and new ways to help make your work life even better!
