Resume review with feedback
In my many years of coaching clients, I’ve often noticed that even the smartest, most talented people can’t see what a resume screener sees … a resume that is blah. Or simply hard to fully “get” at a brief first (maybe only) look of 8 seconds or so, which is about what a resume gets on initial screening.
It’s not the employer’s job to figure out the potential fit of a person they don’t even know. It’s YOUR job to help them see it quickly & easily. And get them excited about maybe finding the perfect candidate they so adamantly want to find.
And that’s what a good resume can do.
Why a resume review service
Besides being a career coach, I was also a resume screener and hiring manager for many years. Although I’m pretty sure that I gave resumes more of a chance than most screeners, I’m also sure there were good candidates who just didn’t give me enough to see the match. And I’d like to help you avoid that.
Resume writing services are expensive. At least the good ones are. And packaged online resume builders, while maybe better than nothing, on their own can leave you with a decent-looking resume that presents you with trite phrases that kind of work. But that won’t help you shine as you advance through the interview process, should you get past the first interview.
Well, the good news is that sometimes you don’t need to do all that much to vastly improve your resume. And your chances. I’ve seen this before with my clients. And also with my own job search over the years.
What the resume review includes
In order to help you get the most while spending the least, the service is divided into two basic parts: (after the initial free call to figure out if we want to work together):
(1) Offline review by me of your resume & goals
(2) Feedback and suggestions (one 60-minute session)
If you need more help, you can sign up for regular coaching. But hopefully, like so many people, just a little feedback from someone who knows the employer side of receiving resumes can get you more and better interviews.
PACKAGE FEE:
Resume review plus one session: $125
{Rate can be adjusted if needed.)

CAREER COACHING RECOMMENDATIONS
Paul D., Career Development Coach
“Ronnie Ann is an outstanding career development coach. She’s one of the best career coaching professionals I have met and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with her as part of my own career journey. Whether coach or coachee, my demands are simple: plans are clear & effective; the coaching relationship is based on growth, learning & trust; goals & progress are motivational today and as far as the eye can see. In my experience Ronnie Ann delivers all this and more, which is why I have no hesitation recommending her as an insightful, talented and visionary career coach.”
Kathleen N., Non-profit Manager
“Ronnie Ann worked with me as a coach during one of the hardest times of my life. After giving my all to an organization I helped create, the Board decided to get rid of me. I was devastated. I can honestly say that it was Ronnie Ann who helped me see this for what it eventually wound up being, a chance to create something new in my life. She was supportive and caring through the entire ordeal and because of her business background, she understood the organizational aspects of what I was going through, even helping me through the end stages so that I could leave with my head held high. Which I am proud to say I did! I will always be grateful to Ronnie Ann for her gentle guidance through a truly life-changing time.”
Marielle M., Publishing Website Producer
“Ronnie Ann is clever, encouraging, and inspiring. She has tremendous insight into the struggles of getting (or keeping) a job in today’s corporate atmosphere, and applies plenty of tools and talent toward helping you find your true calling amid the chaos and distractions of everyday life. She gives great advice and makes the situation you’re in, whatever it may be, seem manageable, helping you find solutions you may never have considered on your own.”
Louise A., Founder Intentional Communication Consultants
“I’ve had the pleasure to work with Ronnie Ann in a number of capacities and her dedication, attention to detail, empathy and wit have never wavered. Apart from her extensive business and non-profit expertise, Ronnie Ann’s clients can expect a deep commitment to their needs and a willingness to bring new, creative resources to every interaction. I followed her (previous) successful blog, Work Coach Cafe, closely and even with “strangers” Ronnie extended herself to offer high quality information and insights, presented with warmth and exceptional thoughtfulness. Ronnie Ann’s an exceptional career coach who will make your search for work or a new direction in life easier, more fulfilling and effective.
