So you’re thinking of leaving your job. And you have lots of great reasons. Ones you’ve thought about long and hard. Reasons that make it clear you can’t stay where you are much longer.
Please know that I’ve been there myself many times. So have a good number of my coaching clients. And many of those times we actually did leave. Unfortunately, not always to a better job!
But over time I’ve found out something interesting: leaving may not always be as good a solution as you think it is. Especially when the urge to leave is pushing you further and further out the door. At those times, we sometimes lose perspective of other possibilities.
Now you may be someone who should move on. For some of us that is the right choice. And if so, I support that 100%. But what if — just maybe — there is another way? And just maybe there are some things you need to look at BEFORE leaving your job.
